Licensure and Accreditation

Youth Empowerment Services' programs operate within state licensing and international accreditation requirements in all program locations where direct child welfare, mental health/mental retardation and educational services are provided to children and their families.

Youth Empowerment Services is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitative Facilities (CARF) and is licensed by the Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.

CARF-accredited programs ensure the highest industry standards possible, providing risk reduction and accountability.
